Where we have been in Africa

We really have been to Africa!  We believe this is a destination where our experience and knowledge can make a huge difference to your holiday experience. We know this destination intimately and we have the best range of tours and options for exploring Africa. Most of all, we have the personal knowledge to help you choose the right experience for you.

ian-greenIan started off his African experiences with a six month overland trip from Cape Town to Nairobi visiting every country in his path. Along the way he also climbed both Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Kenya. He has also spent a month trekking and visiting off-the-beaten track National Parks in Uganda.   In 2009 Ian spent a couple of weeks exploring Namibia on a mobile tented safari trip and in 2011 did a luxury fly-in safari around Kenya and Tanzania. His favourite place in Africa is the beautiful Indian Ocean island of Zanzibar.

Peter Dunne currentPeter completed a nine month overland trip from the UK to Victoria Falls visiting lots of countries that are now mostly closed to tourists including Mali, Ivory Coast, Central African Republic and Zaire. The highlight of this trip was walking through the Ruwenzori Mountains to see the gorillas on the Zaire/Uganda border. Peter had a week in Mombasa doing the beach and safari thing before returning a couple of years later to finish his overland journey from Victoria Falls to Cape Town – that took another 5 weeks! In 2012 Peter got to experience the other side of Africa with a luxury fly-in safari in Botswana and the Okavango Delta.
