    Itinerary

    Day 1 PARIS – DIJON
Travel from Paris to Dijon where the crew will be waiting to welcome you on board the private barge. Enjoy cocktail and delicious dinner to set the cruise underway. (D)

Day 2 DIJON – PETIT OUGES
Back on dry land, this morning we enjoy a leisurely drive through a rural idyll, where row upon row of vines and honey-stone villages will have you thinking you’ve slipped inside a romantic landscape painting. This is Burgundy. And when in Burgundy, it’s only right that to visit a historical icon of wine production. Back on board the barge departs for Petit Ouges, while you enjoy both lunch and dinner on board. (B, L, D)

    Day 3 PETIT OUGES – SAINT-JEAN-DE-LOSNE
Simply sit back in luxurious surrounds and take in some of France’s most sublime wine country, relishing lunch in between. Arrive in Saint-Jean-de-Losne late in the afternoon – which allows time to take a walk or ride along the bike path before dinner at a local restaurant. (B, L, D)

    Day 4 SAINT-JEAN-DE-LOSNE – DOLE
Waking on the water, leave the barge moored alongside the riverboats lining the banks of Saint-Jean-de-Losne to saunter around its pretty streets. Back on the barge cruise to Dole, for a meal at a local restaurant. (B, L, D)

    Day 5 DOLE – RANCHOT
Before setting sail once more, take some time to explore Dole and its charming town centre. Lunch brings you back to the barge, then it’s off to Ranchot. With bicycles on board, you could swap the decks for dry land and ride alongside the canal on the bike path. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, dinner tonight will be served on board. (B, L, D)

    Day 6 RANCHOT – BESANÇON
There’s a leisurely morning in store first as you cruise further along the Canal de Bourgogne. After lunch, depart for Besançon via coach to explore the area at a leisurely pace. Later, tour the Royal Saltworks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before celebrating the final evening on the water with a gala evening dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 7 BESANÇON – PALACE OF FONTAINEBLEAU – PARIS
After a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to the barge and drive to Paris where the tour ends.  (B)
