Monday 14 June Arrive Hawkes Bay (L)
Meet the group today at Napier Airport. We depart the airport at 12:30 and head to Mission Estate for a sumptuous lunch at this famous establishment. With its elegant surroundings and magnificent views, we will not want to leave! Our home for the next 2 nights is the Porters Boutique Hotel in the quaint town of Havelock North.

Tuesday 15 June Hawkes Bay (B.D)
We enjoy a full day tour of the region today. Napier is famous of course for its Art Deco heritage, so what better way to explore that than in a Vintage Car. Learn about the history of the city, visit Bluff Hill, sample the finest chocolate, Te Mata Peak, and lots more. The region is home to some of the country’s best wine, so a little tasting along the way will be included too.

Wednesday 16 June Havelock North – Martinborough (B.D)
After breakfast today, we head off south towards the Wairarapa. A beautiful drive through the rolling hills, truly New Zealand at its best this time of year. We stop for morning tea at Mount Bruce Pukaha National Wildlife Centre. On our visit we learn about the conservation work being done with some of our endangered birds. Time to have a stroll through the interesting town of Greytown and Kahikatea Gardens before continuing to our home for the next 2 nights, Peppers of Martinborough.

    Thursday 17 June Martinborough (B.L)
Merry Mid-Winter Christmas! Today is all about relaxing. We will indulge in a wonderful lunch at the hotel. Afterwards, take a walk around the property, and further afield to the Village maybe. Perhaps a game of petanque or croquet will get the appetite back. There is lots to explore in this popular region.

    Friday 18 June Martinborough – Wellington (B.D)
A leisurely start to the day, as its only a short drive to our next destination in the Capital. We take time to visit Ranui Lavender Farm and explore their essential oils shop before heading out to Palliser Bay and Lake Ferry. We will enjoy lunch at the Lake Ferry Hotel, famous for its Fish and Chips (own expense) before we head over the hill early in the afternoon. Our hotel in Wellington for two nights is the centrally located Intercontinental Hotel.

    Saturday 19 June Wellington (B.D)
To quote a well-known company, Wellington is the Coolest Little Capital in the World. Famous for its food and coffee in various cafes and restaurants there is so much more to the Capital than that. We will tour some of the best attractions including Te Papa, Weta Workshop and Zealandia. Tonight, we have our final dinner together on the waterfront.

    Sunday 20 June Wellington – Home (B)
Sadly, our tour ends this morning after breakfast. We will arrange for transfers to the airport at your required time.
