IMPORTANT NOTE – all fares quoted are approximate – we’ve included current fuel surcharges, but government taxes will vary according to the destination – the range is usually between $100-$380 and are additional. For example Christchurch to Paris return with Singapore Airlines (economy) only attracts $177 taxes whereas Christchurch to London with Air NZ in economy attracts $380 taxes! The UK’s departure taxes are much higher than the rest of Europe, and more if flying business or premium economy than economy, so it can be a good idea to fly INTO the UK and home from another city to save on the taxes – Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, Athens, Amsterdam etc.
