Our programme of activities takes in the absolute best of Peru, discovering the culture, people, history and diverse landscapes of the Andes from the comfort of handpicked, premium accommodation. Sure to be a highlight is our included one-day Inca Trail walk, taking in beautiful mountain scenery and cloud forest while following a small section of the famous historic trail to Machu Picchu. Our adventure also includes two nights deep in the Amazon Rainforest. Discover the amazing variety of Amazon flora and fauna with an expert naturalist guide who can interpret the sights and sounds of the jungle. Day 1

Start Lima

Day 2

Morning fly to Arequipa; afternoon enjoy a city tour and visit to Santa Catalina convent

Day 3

Visit the National Reserve of Salinas hoping to spot Vicunas; transfer to the Colca Lodge Spa & Hot Springs, where we spend the next two nights

Day 4

Early morning to visit Condor’s viewpoint; afternoon explore the Uyo Uyo pre-Inca ruins by foot

Day 5

Drive to Puno, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca

Day 6

Full day exploring Lake Titicaca visiting both Uros and Taquile islands

Day 7

To Cusco; afternoon city walking tour

Day 8

Morning city tour including the Cathedral, Qoricancha and Saqsayhuaman; afternoon to Ollantaytambo

Day 9

One Day Inca Trail via Wiñay Wayna to Machu Picchu

Day 10

Morning visit Machu Picchu; afternoon return to Ollantaytambo

Day 11

Sacred Valley tour; visit Chinchero community for a traditional pachamanca lunch; return to Cusco

Day 12

Free day in Cusco for optional activities

Day 13

Fly to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción, our base for exploring the Peruvian Amazon

Day 14

Exploring the Peruvian Amazon

Fly to Lima; final dinner with the group
