DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HOBARTWelcome to “Van Diemen’s Land!” Schedule flights to arrive by 4 pm in time for a welcome meeting and drinks, featuring local Tasmanian wines and spirits.

DAY 2: HOBART. EXCURSION TO BRUNY ISLANDHOBART: Visit the famous Salamanca Market with a chance to meet artisans and taste fresh local produce. Time to explore on your own, grab a coffee, and do some shopping. Evening at leisure. BRUNY ISLAND: Enjoy a tasting tour of this rugged island that may include local specialties such as fresh oysters, cheeses, berries, and more. (B,L)

DAY 3: HOBART ¿ FREYCINET NATIONAL PARKTravel to beautiful Freycinet National Park with a photo stop at the Convict Bridge. FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK: Visit the Cape Tourville Lighthouse for amazing views of the ocean and coast below. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to explore on your own. (B,D) Accommodation Spotlight: Spend 2 nights overlooking the blue waters of Great Oyster Bay with the rugged Hazards Mountains as your backdrop. DAY 5: FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK – LAUNCESTON ¿ SHEFFIELD – CRADLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARKLAUNCESTON Tour and tasting at Josef Chromy Vineyard, guided walk through the scenic Cataract Gorge. SHEFFIELD Tasting and tour at a local honey factory, sightseeing to see the town’s famous murals. (B,D) Accommodation Spotlight: Spend the next 2 nights at one of Australia’s iconic wilderness experiences. This evening, enjoy a special behind-the-scenes visit to the Devils@Cradle to learn about this rescue centre devoted to saving the endangered Devils. (B)

DAY 7: CRADLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK ¿ STRAHANCRADLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK Early morning at leisure to enjoy more of this incredible location. STRAHAN Orientation tour, visit to Ocean Beach, scenic dinner cruise on the Gordon River and into the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage area. (B,L,D)

DAY 8: STRAHN – LAKE ST CLAIR NATIONAL PARK – MT FIELD NATIONAL PARK – HOBART LAKE ST CLAIRNATIONAL PARK Visit the Wall in the Wilderness art project, sightseeing.
